About the role
A construction-focused company in Riyadh is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing and supply‑chain activities for its projects. The role involves sourcing materials, handling RFQs, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of required items.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities and purchasing requirements for construction projects.
- Prepare RFQs, analyse supplier proposals, and compare pricing and delivery terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favourable conditions.
- Process purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price and delivery timelines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Technology/Architecture with a focus on civil construction.
- 1–2 years of practical procurement experience, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and ERP software.
