Product Engineer – Plastics & Tooling (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer specialised in plastics and tooling to drive the industrialisation of injection‑moulded components in Saudi Arabia. The role will support plant ramp‑up in the Eastern region and later transfer and scale processes to the Western region, working closely with engineering, suppliers and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end industrialisation of plastic components from concept through to start‑of‑production.
• Support initial plant ramp‑up and ensure stable production launch in Eastern Saudi Arabia.
• Transfer and scale manufacturing processes to the Western Saudi Arabia site.
• Conduct feasibility studies and optimise designs for manufacturability (DFM).
• Run and interpret Moldflow simulations (fill, pack, warp) to guide tooling design.
• Define tooling concepts, manage tool development with suppliers and oversee tool trials (T0‑T2).
• Troubleshoot moulding and process issues during ramp‑up.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, suppliers and OEM/Tier‑1 customers on technical discussions.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in injection moulding and plastics engineering.
• Proven knowledge of DFM, Moldflow simulation and tooling development.
• Hands‑on experience with tooling suppliers and production ramp‑up.
• Willingness to work on projects in both Eastern and Western Saudi Arabia.
• Solution‑oriented, structured and able to operate in an international, green‑field environment.
