Product Manager Intern (Remote)

About the role

AtmetChat is a WhatsApp automation and AI customer service platform for online stores on Salla, Zid and Shopify. We are looking for a Product Manager Intern to decide what we build next and ensure it ships properly. You won’t write production code, but you will read API documentation, trace message failures, and write clear specs for engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the product deeply: the WhatsApp Cloud API, message templates, approval rules, webhooks, and our Salla, Zid and Shopify integrations.
• Join merchant calls, identify product gaps, and turn insights into prioritized work.
• Write precise specs and user stories, covering edge cases and failure handling.
• Analyze usage data to spot onboarding drop‑offs, popular automations, and silent failures.
• Test releases before shipping, especially integration and delivery paths where failures are costly.
• Maintain accurate product documentation and help‑center content.
• Monitor competitor WhatsApp platforms and report what matters for our roadmap.

Required profile

• Comfortable with technical concepts; able to read API docs, understand webhooks, and differentiate WhatsApp Business app vs API.
• Strong Arabic and English communication skills; speak with merchants in Arabic and read technical documentation in English.
• Excellent written communication; produce clear, precise product specifications.
• Data‑savvy; proficient with spreadsheets, SQL a plus.
• Bonus: have built and shipped a side project, script, automation, or app used by others.

Required skills

• API documentation reading
• Webhooks
• WhatsApp Cloud API knowledge
• Spreadsheet analysis (Excel/Google Sheets)
• SQL (optional)

What we offer

• Real ownership from week one across the whole product.
• Watch a feature go from merchant complaint to live, daily‑used functionality.
• Strong chance at a full‑time offer if the internship works out for both sides.
