Production Manager – HVDC Factory Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the HVDC converter valve factory in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, ensuring safe, reliable and world‑class manufacturing as the plant ramps up and sustains production. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, drive operational excellence and deliver production plans on time, at the required quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day production execution for assigned areas, maintaining safety, stability and high‑quality output.
• Lead shift and production teams to meet daily and weekly targets aligned with the factory master plan.
• Translate production requirements into work orders, schedules and routing plans, ensuring capacity readiness.
• Manage production flow, resolve bottlenecks and protect delivery commitments.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as on‑time completion, throughput, yield, rework and cost efficiency.
• Ensure production output meets specifications through quality gates, inspections and test plans.
• Support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with cross‑functional partners.
• Coach, develop and train supervisors and operators, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
• Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance and engineering to secure material availability and equipment uptime.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading production operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of HVDC technology and factory processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional interfaces and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
