Production Planner – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Mattex Group is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join its Jeddah manufacturing hub. You will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules that align with customer delivery dates, plant capacity, and material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a master production schedule (MPS) based on confirmed sales orders and plant capacity.
• Analyze labor, machinery, and material resources to optimize production flow and adjust schedules proactively.
• Coordinate with procurement to monitor raw‑material inventory, initiate purchase requisitions, and track supplier deliveries.
• Act as the central liaison among operations, procurement, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, minimizing obsolete or excess inventory.
• Measure and report variances between actual output and planned schedules, tracking KPIs such as schedule adherence, OEE, and lead times.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate work orders, production orders, and planning reports, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and reporting.
