Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high‑quality output in a fast‑paced food production environment. You will coordinate staff, manage workflow, and act as the key link between production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the addition of spices and meat according to recipes.
• Manage packing material inventory, track losses, and ensure proper usage.
• Oversee machine performance, readouts, operation, disassembly, installation, and periodic cleaning.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and corrective actions.
• Make real‑time decisions to keep production on schedule during unexpected issues.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices at every production stage.
• Prepare and submit performance and progress reports.
• Organize workflow, assign tasks, and create production schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, including new hires.
• Ensure safe equipment use, enforce safety guidelines, and schedule regular maintenance.
• Inspect outputs against specifications and suggest efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Production Supervisor in frozen food or meat processing.
• Hands‑on experience with various manufacturing machines and tools.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Agriculture.
