Professional Waiter – Guest Service Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a professional Waiter to deliver high‑quality food and beverage service while ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. The role involves greeting guests, presenting menus, taking and delivering orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and recommend suitable items.
• Take orders accurately, communicate them clearly to the kitchen and check order accuracy.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and respond professionally to guest requests or complaints.
• Prepare and organize tables, maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Process bills and payments using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Follow company policies, food safety procedures and occupational health standards.
• Cooperate effectively with kitchen and service teams and maintain a professional appearance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service quality and overall guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service focus with professional etiquette.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, hotels or restaurants preferred.
• Good knowledge of table service, menu items and service standards.
• Effective verbal communication in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation to explain menu items.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and peak seasons.
• Commitment to personal hygiene, professional appearance and workplace cleanliness.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Use of restaurant ordering software.
