About the role
Our client, a leading Saudi Arabian university, is seeking a full‑time Professor (PhD) in Mathematics to join its growing faculty. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English, lead research initiatives, and contribute to the department’s strategic development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, up‑to‑date lectures in a designated Mathematics specialization using English as the medium of instruction.
- Design and continuously improve course materials, ensuring alignment with national (NCAAA) and international accreditation standards.
- Conduct high‑quality mathematical research and publish results in peer‑reviewed academic journals.
- Mentor and supervise students in their academic and research activities.
- Participate in departmental administration and strategic planning.
Required profile
- PhD in Mathematics from a university ranked in the top 400 (Shanghai), top 300 (THE) or top 200 (QS) worldwide.
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and research funding is desirable.
Required skills
- Strong expertise in a core Mathematics sub‑specialty.
- Ability to develop curriculum and assessment tools.
- Proficiency in academic writing and peer‑review processes.
