Programme Director – Transport Infrastructure

About the role

SJB Group, part of Surbana Jurong, is seeking a senior Programme Director to lead high‑impact transport infrastructure programmes across Saudi Arabia. The role provides strategic leadership for complex, regulated projects, ensuring they meet strategic, financial and regulatory objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define programme scope, roadmap, governance framework and success metrics.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, interface activities and contractor performance tracking.
• Manage programme budgets, financial forecasts and commercial performance.
• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams and serve as senior point of contact for customers, OEMs, suppliers, regulators and internal executives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate technical, operational, regulatory and financial risks.
• Provide executive‑level reporting, insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop programme managers and senior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in aviation, aerospace or a closely related regulated industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven track record delivering large, multi‑year, multi‑disciplinary programmes.
• Hands‑on experience working with OEMs, airlines, MROs or similar stakeholders.
