Project Accountant

About the role

Qantara, a subsidiary of the Almutlaq Group, is seeking a Project Accountant to support its infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing insights that drive cost‑effective project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, manage vendor and customer payments, and track incoming operational revenues.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, records, and financial data to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Prepare and file tax returns, offering recommendations for future tax reductions.
• Analyze financial data, identify risks, suggest cost‑saving measures, and support business planning.
• Conduct internal audits, reconcile bank statements, and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Track ongoing expenses, monitor budgets against actuals, and prepare regular financial reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understanding of tax regulations.
• Familiarity with financial theory.
