Project Coordinator

About the role

A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join its Commercial Department in Riyadh. The role bridges the commercial team and project sites, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the lifecycle of large‑scale retail, residential and mixed‑use projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the commercial department and project sites, tracking and resolving commercial matters promptly.
• Prepare, review and submit variations, change orders and commercial correspondence for all active projects.
• Collect, verify and consolidate progress measurements and quantities for interim payment applications.
• Follow up on commercial submissions, approvals and payments with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain commercial registers, variation logs, payment logs and correspondence trackers.
• Assist in subcontract commercial activities, including payment certificates and variation assessments.
• Support preparation of monthly commercial and cost reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial, contracts or site coordination within the construction industry.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong coordination, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Experience with document control systems and project management platforms.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions and Saudi construction regulations.
