Project Engineer – Energy Services

About the role

Penspen, a global energy services provider, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join its team in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia. The role will support the execution of on‑shore oil and gas/petrochemical projects, overseeing FEED and EPC phases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage discipline engineers, planning and scheduling engineers and coordinate interdisciplinary inputs across projects, sites, stakeholders, FEED and EPC engineers.
• Coordinate between project teams and multidisciplinary inputs.
• Oversee entire project execution and monitor FEED contractor performance.
• Track FEED contractor schedules, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and conduct delay analysis.
• Monitor budget, control costs, oversee timesheet submissions and leave requests, and provide support to team leads.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration and project support for major on‑shore oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Prior PMC experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and related procedures is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia.
