Project Engineer – Heavy Lifting & Transport

About the role

The Project Engineer will develop conventional and innovative engineering solutions for heavy‑lifting and transport projects. This includes preparing method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals and risk assessments to guarantee safe and efficient execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and select engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals and risk assessments; verify equipment suitability.
• Ensure the engineering plan is followed during job execution and support on‑site operations management when required.
• Formulate and present engineering solutions, providing accurate advice proactively or on request.
• Control documentation by checking and approving engineering documents before final approval.
• Record, execute and maintain technical documents and data in internal systems in line with company requirements.

Required profile

• Professional experience with departmental and administrative systems and the MS Office suite.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil & gas, offshore, ports or mining is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
