Project Engineer – Manage Multi‑Project Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead multiple refinery projects from concept through close‑out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, engineering and construction teams, and external sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Review project scope and develop concept packages.
• Support MTA scoring sessions for project prioritisation and organise annual CAPEX business plans.
• Participate in Technical Committee meetings to obtain development and implementation approvals.
• Analyse project schedules, costs and deliverables, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate regular meetings with engineering and construction counterparts and provide updates in Spirit meetings.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety (WPS) and process safety (PSM) standards, as well as SASREF HSE policies.
• Maintain cybersecurity best practices and adhere to SASREF information security policies.

Required profile

• B.S. degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience, preferably in a refinery environment.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Fluent English – both spoken and written.
