Project Lead Engineer – Primary

About the role

The Project Lead Engineer – Primary will design, communicate and implement operational plans for engineering projects, covering design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of new infrastructure and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects, including preparation of primary drawings and Bill of Quantities for GIS items.
• Lead engineering activities, prepare specifications, review supplier offers and coordinate procurement with Supply Chain Management.
• Lead discussions with customers, handle site queries, and ensure timely delivery according to the project plan.
• Review deliverables before client submission and ensure quality as a top priority.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) projects.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
