Project Manager IV – Railway Infrastructure

About the role

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Project Manager IV to lead a portfolio of railway and transportation infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for delivering client revenue targets, maintaining profit margins, and ensuring projects are completed without financial write‑downs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple client projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Deliver assigned revenues and achieve planned profit margins.
• Identify and mitigate Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) across complex projects.
• Direct and mentor other Project Managers, guiding risk‑recognition and claim‑avoidance strategies.
• Supervise project teams to minimize exposure to claims and ensure high‑quality execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Railway, or Transportation Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Professional registration (PE, CEng, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• 12+ years of experience in railway alignment design and engineering.
• Proven track record on rail, metro, light‑rail, high‑speed rail, or related transportation infrastructure projects.
