Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead small to medium‑sized projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and meeting all contractual, quality, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative aspects of assigned projects.
• Develop project goals, execution strategies, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and management plans.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, profitability, quality, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities.
• Maintain project documentation including Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
• Lead weekly project status meetings, track action items, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, scope, contracts, and profitability.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing client relationships, subcontractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.

Required skills

• Project management certification meeting Parsons’ requirements.
• Knowledge of industry practices, standards, regulations, and project controls.
• Proficiency in project management technologies and their application.
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve project risks, cost issues, schedule delays, and scope changes.
