Project Manager – Large‑Scale Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale infrastructure and water‑related projects. The role involves planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope and budget while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Monitor and control project progress, performance and costs.
• Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for flawless execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders and verify technical feasibility.
• Analyse risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
• Report progress to management and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and occupational health policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or city development projects, especially water and wastewater works.
• Proven experience with major government or semi‑government programmes and utility providers.
• Strong knowledge of professional project‑management processes, tools and software.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
