Project Planning & Control Manager (WET IC)

About the role

The Project Planning & Control Manager (WET IC) will lead the planning, scheduling and cost control activities for large‑scale engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that project baselines are maintained, deviations are identified early and corrective actions are implemented to keep the project on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Prepare and maintain the Project Execution Plan, integrating scope, schedule and cost baselines.
• Track actual expenditures against budgets, report cost variances and performance indices (CPI, SPI).
• Support risk identification, quantification and mitigation, and manage change orders and their impact on schedule and cost.
• Liaise with client representatives and internal teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project planning and control for engineering or construction projects.
• Ability to analyse schedule deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Experience preparing management reports and presenting project performance data.
• Familiarity with risk and change management processes.
