Projects Assistant

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a Projects Assistant in Dammam to provide administrative and site support for projects and services. The role reports to the KSA project director and is accountable for the quality of its own work, under direct operations supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, owners and contractors to obtain site access and permits.
• Provide hands-on administrative and operational support to project managers and site teams.
• Prepare, coordinate and follow up on site access requirements such as gate passes, visitor permits and other approvals for employees, contractors and business visitors.
• Support project billing by preparing invoice documentation, submitting billing requests and following up with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to meet project requests on time.
• Occasionally visit the site to coordinate access, documentation and logistics.
• Handle online service requests through customer portals and internal systems, and follow up on pending requests.
• Provide general project coordination and administrative assistance, and be flexible between office and on-site work.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical/vocational diploma.
• At least 5 years of overall experience within GE Vernova.
• Willingness to visit customer or project sites when required.
• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
• Experience on SE projects and/or on the access and contractor ID process.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
• Attention to detail, especially on billing documents, gate passes and service requests.
• Ability to work independently and follow up proactively.
• Familiarity with GE Vernova internal processes and systems.
