Property & Inventory Control Officer – Shared Services

About the role

The Property and Inventory Control Officer is responsible for receiving, recording, transferring and disposing of fixed assets across Fakeeh Care entities. The role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and supports efficient asset management for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Purchasing to track purchase orders and verify receiving documents.
• Perform three‑way checks (PO, invoice, physical items) and complete receiving forms with custodian signatures.
• Create and distribute Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and register items in Oracle, assigning categories, cost centres and custodians.
• Coordinate asset transfers, update custodianship, and prepare summary reports for management.
• Manage disposal processes, obtain technical assessment reports, solicit scrap quotations and supervise removal.
• Maintain the Property Control stockroom and act as custodian for the scrap cage.
• Investigate asset damage not due to normal wear and assist with physical inventory counts.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of fixed‑asset and inventory procedures.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Good communication skills for interaction with Purchasing, Biomedical and other departments.
• Ability to work independently and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle asset modules
• Reporting and data entry capabilities
