Public Affairs Lead – Vaccines (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

As the Public Affairs Lead for Vaccines, you will champion vaccine confidence and disease‑prevention awareness across Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with health authorities, NGOs, and patient groups to ensure equitable access to immunisation and position Sanofi as a trusted public‑health partner.

Key responsibilities

• Engage patient groups and civil‑society organisations to lead disease‑awareness campaigns for HPV, influenza, RSV and other priority vaccines.
• Support national immunisation strategies through evidence‑based advocacy, monitoring policy trends, NITAG recommendations and budgetary constraints.
• Build community‑level listening frameworks to integrate patient insights into brand planning and reputation strategy.
• Co‑develop multistakeholder partnerships that improve vaccine confidence, health‑literacy and digital immunisation engagement.
• Lead collaborations with scientific societies in paediatrics, infectious disease and public health to advance vaccination agendas.
• Coordinate with Medical, External Affairs, Market Access and Communications teams to align messaging and manage risk.
• Advise on actions shaped by policy analysis and stakeholder feedback to reinforce Sanofi’s public‑health role.
• Drive public‑awareness campaigns that promote equitable access to vaccines across diverse Saudi communities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in vaccines, public health, public affairs or community‑health organisations with proven impact in patient advocacy.
• Experience managing immunisation programmes, public‑health partnerships or disease‑prevention campaigns, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East.
• Strong understanding of local health‑policy environments and stakeholder landscapes.
