Public Policy Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Amazon’s International Public Policy team is seeking a Public Policy Manager for Saudi Arabia. You will lead engagement with national policymakers and NGOs to support Amazon’s consumer‑centric business model across the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute advocacy, outreach, and partnership strategies with government officials and non‑governmental groups.
• Coordinate with Amazon’s local and global business units to align public policy positioning.
• Manage relationships with industry associations, coalitions, and external consultants.
• Provide clear guidance on complex regulatory issues, especially in ambiguous situations.
• Support the design of external advocacy programs and initiatives that advance business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development or a related field.
• 10+ years of public policy experience, preferably in consumer‑facing technology or retail companies.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
• Advanced degree in a public policy discipline is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environment with legal, PR, and business teams.
• Strong project‑management, communication, and decision‑making skills.
