Public Relations & Government Relations Officer (PRO/GRO)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Public Relations Officer / Government Relations Officer to serve as the main liaison between our company and Saudi government authorities. The role ensures timely processing of licences, permits, visas and compliance with local regulations while supporting internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with ministries, regulatory bodies and government departments to obtain and renew company registrations, licences and permits.
• Process employment visas, work permits and residence permits (Iqama), coordinate onboarding/off‑boarding with authorities and monitor renewal dates.
• Track expiry of commercial registrations, municipal licences and certificates, and ensure timely renewals.
• Prepare and submit applications, manage document attestation, notarisation and legalisation.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections and provide updates on regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and Legal on compliance matters and facilitate communication between employees and government agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Human Resources or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PRO/GRO or government‑relations roles within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labour law, immigration regulations and Saudisation (Nitaqat) requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Saudi government portals: Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher, Mudad, GOSI and ZATCA.
