Purchase Specialist

About the role

The Purchase Specialist will manage and coordinate international purchasing activities for a leading healthcare solutions provider in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement of medical products from overseas suppliers while collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end international procurement, from sourcing to delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and process accurate purchase orders, confirming pricing, quantities, specifications and terms.
• Request and assess supplier quotations, support commercial negotiations and secure favourable terms.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers on quotations, orders, shipments and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders, follow up on outstanding shipments and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Work with internal stakeholders to capture purchasing requirements and verify product specifications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date purchasing records, supplier documentation and procurement reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably with international suppliers.
• Hands‑on experience handling purchase orders, quotations and overseas shipments.
• Experience in procuring medical products is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
