Purchasing Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join Miraval The Red Sea, a luxury wellness resort in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the procurement team by handling day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers locally and internationally based on price, quality, delivery and service.
• Conduct market research to discover new products, services and emerging trends.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and service level agreements, and manage purchase contracts.
• Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders in the ERP system and track order status.
• Coordinate with operations, finance and engineering departments to understand their procurement needs.
• Monitor contract expirations, initiate renewals or re‑tendering as required.
• Continuously seek cost‑saving opportunities and support cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain support.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for creating and managing purchase orders.
