Purchasing Manager – CAPEX & MRO

About the role

The Purchase Manager – CAPEX & MRO leads strategic sourcing and procurement across CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services, and Industrial categories for SADAFCO. Partnering with manufacturing, engineering, finance, logistics and legal teams, the role translates business needs into sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, supplier performance and operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse spend patterns, supplier markets and operational requirements to define sourcing strategies for CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services and Industrial categories.
• Implement procurement best practices, governance frameworks and SOPs; conduct supplier benchmarking, total cost of ownership analysis and cost modelling.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities with cross‑functional stakeholders, increasing spend coverage through strategic supplier agreements.
• Draft, negotiate and monitor contracts in collaboration with Legal, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, manage risk, develop alternate sourcing plans and conduct supplier audits.
• Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate technical and commercial proposals, oversee PO creation and resolve procurement issues.
• Prepare KPI dashboards, savings reports and spend analytics for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Industrial or Production Engineering (mandatory).
• 8–10 years of procurement experience in FMCG, with core focus on CAPEX & MRO.
• Proven experience with SAP S2P, Tableau and Power BI.
• Preferred MBA or certifications such as APICS, CPIM, CPSM.
