Purchasing Manager – Marketing & Co‑Pack Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will lead SADAFCO’s long‑term procurement strategy and short‑term execution for Marketing ATL & BTL activities and co‑pack services. The role ensures end‑to‑end sourcing, contracting, supplier governance and commercial optimisation across media, creative, production, events, POSM, digital marketing and packaging services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete procurement cycle for Marketing ATL, BTL and co‑pack services, including media buying, agency selection, brand production and event activation.
• Develop and implement three‑year category roadmaps, sourcing models and supplier panels aligned with brand plans and innovation pipelines.
• Conduct market and supplier profiling, capability assessments, compliance screening and capacity validation for agencies, production houses, co‑packers and packaging converters.
• Gather market intelligence on media costs, digital trends, packaging innovations and commodity indices to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Analyse value levers such as agency consolidation, media buying optimisation, POSM standardisation, make‑vs‑buy assessments and total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to ensure risk mitigation, quality compliance and speed‑to‑market.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic procurement or purchasing within marketing, media or consumer‑goods environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable sourcing strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills across multiple internal functions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost transparency, innovation and supplier performance.
