Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will lead sourcing activities for a range of spend categories, including office supplies, raw material supplies and service providers, ensuring that quantity and quality expectations are met. You will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve cost‑effective and timely procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for office supplies, production raw materials and services.
• Create regular internal and external reports.
• Collaborate with departments to select the most cost‑effective options within agreed timelines.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs, procedures and business systems.
• Implement cost‑reduction strategies with key stakeholders.
• Manage third‑party contracts in line with company policies.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor market trends.
• Track inventory and restock as needed.
• Lead projects within budget and schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience sourcing SS & Inconel flanges, pipes and bars (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and an extensive local vendor network.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international teams.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing vendor and internal relationships.
