Purchasing Specialist – Manufacturing Facility

About the role

Musco is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to lead supplier evaluation and relationship building for its new manufacturing facility in Dammam. The role focuses on securing quality materials, equipment, and services while supporting inventory and production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
• Maintain and improve procedures for quality, delivery, service, and price performance.
• Support minimum inventory levels and prevent backorders or production disruptions.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve procurement issues and interpret cost analyses.
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare cost comparison requests for purchasing, engineering, and production projects.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers, including their capabilities, reliability, and resources.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of purchasing experience.
• Business or Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office365 applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of purchasing systems and negotiation techniques.
