Purchasing Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Purchasing Supervisor to join our procurement team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The role will lead the end‑to‑end purchasing process, manage supplier relationships and ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services that support our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organisational goals and budget constraints.
• Negotiate contracts, prices and terms with suppliers to secure best value.
• Oversee the full purchasing cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast demand and determine purchasing needs.
• Analyse market trends, pricing data and supplier performance to inform decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels and supplier information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Coordinate regular inventory audits with storeroom personnel.
• Mentor and supervise junior purchasing staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Implement quality control measures for purchased goods and services.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost savings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
