QA Lead Engineer – Automation & Quality Strategy

About the role

Coorbiz is seeking a QA Lead Engineer to define and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy across its finance‑focused software portfolio. The role blends hands‑on automation work with leadership of a QA team, driving continuous testing, performance validation, and release quality.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile and backend systems.
• Lead, mentor and coach QA engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and DevOps to ensure testable, measurable requirements.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines into CI/CD workflows to enable continuous delivery.
• Define and execute performance, load and security testing to guarantee system reliability.
• Standardize tools and best practices across projects and champion data‑driven testing metrics.
• Facilitate defect triage, coordinate release testing and report risks to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of software testing experience, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to build and scale automation frameworks and to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality‑first culture.
