QA/QC Architecture Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is looking for a detail‑oriented QA/QC Architecture Engineer to join its Jeddah team. You will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and control systems for all architectural aspects of large‑scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific QA/QC plans for architectural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications and best practices.
• Review and approve architectural materials, method statements and shop drawings submitted by subcontractors.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken promptly.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and construction teams to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including inspection records, test reports and audit findings.
• Ensure all architectural finishes and installations meet required quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings to report on quality performance and provide expert input.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer focused on architectural elements in large construction projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of architectural materials, construction methods and international building codes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Excellent inspection, auditing and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
