QA/QC Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of world‑class construction projects. The role will coordinate quality activities across project delivery functions, develop workflows and templates, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings and contract documents to identify quality requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for assigned projects.
• Conduct inspections of all construction phases, including materials, workmanship and code compliance.
• Identify non‑conformances, document issues and work with contractors to develop corrective actions.
• Verify completion of corrective actions and ensure all deficiencies are resolved.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
• Participate in pre‑construction, progress and hand‑over meetings.
• Stay up‑to‑date on building codes, fire safety regulations and emerging construction technologies.
• Assist with preparation of submittals and shop drawings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of proven QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes and relevant building codes and fire safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for developing models, templates and reports.
• Experience with construction quality management systems and related software.
