QC Manager - Piping, Civil and Mechanical Works

About the role

The QC Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the project quality control system so that all piping, civil and mechanical works meet contractual, code and specification requirements. The role covers inspection, testing and non-conformance management, and is based on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project Quality Control Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Manage and supervise QC inspectors across piping, civil and mechanical disciplines
• Ensure inspections, tests and hold points follow approved ITPs and specifications
• Review and approve inspection reports, NDE reports and material certificates
• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including root cause and corrective action
• Coordinate third-party inspection, client inspection and certification activities
• Ensure calibration and control of inspection and test equipment
• Conduct internal quality audits and site quality walkdowns
• Compile quality documentation for final dossiers and project handover
• Liaise with client/consultant QA/QC representatives and report quality performance to project management
• Support training and awareness of QC requirements across site teams

Required profile

• +10 years of experience in quality control/assurance on EPC or industrial construction projects, including supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or a related field
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent QC certification preferred
