QHSE Officer

About the role

The QHSE Officer will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards across facilities management operations. This on‑site, full‑time position ensures compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and project‑specific procedures while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits, and compliance assessments across FM project sites.
• Monitor implementation of HSE policies, permits, risk assessments, and method statements, and follow up corrective actions.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near‑misses, and non‑conformities, preparing clear reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records, and compliance tracking systems.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness campaigns, and site‑level QHSE training sessions.
• Coordinate with operations teams, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and client representatives on all QHSE matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QHSE/HSE roles within Facilities Management, Integrated FM, O&M, or large‑scale operational projects.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams, supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel or relocate across Saudi Arabia as required.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate QHSE reports and records.
