Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Quality Assurance Lead will oversee all QA and QC activities for a biotechnology‑based protein production facility. This position ensures that the project meets all specifications, quality plans, codes, standards and regulatory requirements while supporting the delivery of a food‑grade manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC processes throughout engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup phases.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems, inspection and test plans (ITPs), audit programs and quality surveillance.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, contractors, equipment vendors and client representatives to resolve quality issues and close non‑conformances.
• Promote traceability, documentation control, cleanliness standards and compliance with food, biotechnology and GMP regulations.
• Support operational readiness and successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience on industrial capital projects.
• Experience on ATLS projects and in regulated manufacturing environments (food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fermentation).
• Proven experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia and knowledge of international quality standards.
• Hands‑on experience with quality oversight during construction, commissioning, qualification and readiness activities.
