Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function at our poultry processing plant in Al Shamli, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that all products meet the highest food safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team and activities within the poultry processing plant.
• Maintain full compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP and SSOP standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPA) for any quality issues.
• Oversee laboratory operations, microbiological testing and product quality evaluation.
• Ensure traceability, product release procedures and non‑conformance management.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and supply‑chain teams to drive quality improvements.
• Train, coach and evaluate the performance of the QA staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Veterinary Science or a related field.
• 8–10 years of QA experience in food manufacturing, preferably poultry or meat processing.
• 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations and quality systems.
