Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

An international engineering and construction firm is looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance and control across a high‑specification manufacturing facility in Riyadh. The role combines hands‑on project delivery experience with rigorous discipline in documentation, compliance and record management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project quality plans, procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Oversee preparation, review, approval and maintenance of quality documentation such as inspection requests, material approvals, test reports and method statements.
• Manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions and quality observations, ensuring root‑cause analysis and proper closure.
• Conduct internal audits, site inspections and supplier/sub‑contractor quality assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, third‑party inspectors and internal stakeholders on inspections, audits and quality approvals.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project quality assurance/control on complex EPC, industrial or oil‑and‑gas projects.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to manage large volumes of technical and quality documentation with high accuracy.

Required skills

• Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation and auditing.
• Development and execution of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Non‑conformance report (NCR) handling and corrective‑action management.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent quality‑management qualification.
• Document control, revision control and traceability procedures.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications and applicable codes/standards.
