Quality Assurance Section Head

About the role

The Quality Assurance Section Head is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Project Management System in line with corporate policies, international standards and client requirements. This senior position leads the development and execution of quality assurance plans, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and audit quality‑related activities against established Quality Plans and client specifications.
• Develop, modify, or adapt corporate procedures to support the Quality System.
• Create project‑specific Quality Plans that outline required quality standards and road‑maps.
• Conduct detailed periodic audits to assess compliance with QA systems, procedures and corrective actions.
• Report quality issues, trends and performance metrics to the Project Director, Area Manager and Area Quality Manager.
• Validate product specifications, quality attributes and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Prepare quality documentation, reports and data analyses for management review.
• Train and motivate staff to uphold quality standards and ensure clear communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including extensive experience as a quality manager on large‑scale projects.
• Certified Lead Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of quality principles, tools and their application to engineering, construction, procurement, testing and operations.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication and ability to provide on‑the‑job training.
