Quality Engineer – High‑Speed Turbo Compressors

About the role

Hanwha Power Arabia is looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance across the manufacturing lifecycle of high‑speed turbo compressors. You will ensure products meet rigorous industry standards, customer specifications, and internal performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Oversee inline and final inspections of precision components such as impellers, shafts, casings and bearings.
• Lead investigations of internal non‑conformances and customer returns using structured problem‑solving methods (8D, 5‑Why, Fishbone).
• Collaborate with procurement and supplier quality teams to audit vendors, conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and resolve material or component defects.
• Supervise and validate Non‑Destructive Testing (PT, MT, UT) and precision dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS implementation.
• Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
