Quality Specialist – EMS Accreditation & Compliance

About the role

The Quality Specialist will lead accreditation alignment, policy development, audit, and data management for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division of Fakeeh Health Care. The role ensures compliance with international accreditation bodies (JCIA, ACHS, ABBA) and internal quality standards, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Review, update, and align EMS policies and procedures with JCIA, ACHS, and ABBA accreditation requirements.
• Conduct regular gap analyses, develop action plans, and coordinate readiness activities for accreditation surveys.
• Draft, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with EMS leadership.
• Perform qualitative reviews of EMR documentation and conduct quality audits of EMS operations, clinical documentation, and patient safety practices.
• Track and analyze KPIs, generate monthly audit reports, and communicate findings to Quality Risk Management, CMO, and senior leadership.
• Participate in committees, validate new KPIs, and collect manually reported KPI data.
• Monitor privacy and confidentiality of patient information across the organization.
• Manage incident reports, support root cause analysis, and promote safety education for EMS staff.
• Collect, analyze, and present quality data and dashboards for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in healthcare quality, accreditation, or patient safety within an EMS or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of JCIA, ACHS, and ABBA accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop corrective action plans.
• Excellent written communication skills for policy drafting and training delivery.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and committees.
