Quality Specialist

About the role

The Quality Specialist will support Bechtel’s King Salman International Airport project by ensuring that all contractor quality documentation and processes meet the project’s stringent requirements. Working on‑site in Riyadh, you will collaborate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess contractors’ Quality Management System (QMS) plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures and templates against the project scope.
• Identify applicable quality requirements and report new or revised regulatory requirements.
• Monitor non‑conforming conditions, evaluate corrective actions and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and complete quality audit checklists and participate in internal and external audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Support resolution of complex quality issues and mitigate performance risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of industry quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) knowledge, preferably ISO 9001.
• Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) development and review.
• Regulatory compliance monitoring.
