Quality Supervisor – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Quality Supervisor ensures product integrity, compliance and safety across warehouse and distribution processes. This role monitors quality standards, investigates incidents and supports continuous improvement within the logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Log and track quality‑related complaints in the database, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct initial investigations with customers and trade marketing teams to determine root causes of quality or safety incidents.
• Apply statistical sampling techniques to inspect incoming deliveries and maintain high‑quality standards.
• Physically analyze finished products during storage and before dispatch to identify potential quality deviations.
• Monitor and inspect storage conditions daily, including temperature, room humidity (RH) and stacking conditions.
• Quarantine returned or refused products for further inspection and corrective action.
• Validate correct handling of finished products during loading/unloading and confirm cleanliness of containers and trucks.
• Develop large‑scale inspection techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish Acceptable Quality Limits (AQLs) for all products to ensure compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks and investigations for data analysis.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure strict compliance with safety policies.
• Support the warehouse team in closing gaps identified during internal and external audits.
• Audit warehouse facilities, prepare reports and set improvement goals in line with BRC Storage & Distribution standards.
• Verify inbound and outbound processes follow traceability and recall protocols.
• Review pest‑control effectiveness and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Oversee implementation and maintenance of ISO standards and certifications.
• Manage the quality block tracker to identify, monitor and resolve non‑conformities promptly.
• Develop and deliver training programs related to quality and safety.

Required profile

Required skills

• Statistical sampling techniques for incoming deliveries.
• Temperature and relative humidity (RH) monitoring of storage areas.
• Establishing and applying Acceptable Quality Limits (AQLs).
• Knowledge of BRC Storage & Distribution standards.
• Implementation and maintenance of ISO quality certifications.
