About the role
Penspen is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its cost control team for major oil and gas projects in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia. The role involves monitoring project costs, reviewing contractor reports and supporting financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the PMS cost control team in monitoring and managing project costs across all phases.
- Review contractor cost reports, budgets and forecasts for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain up‑to‑date cost tracking, support variance analysis and monitor commitments, expenditures and trends.
- Support monthly reporting, invoice verification and change management tracking.
- Coordinate with planning, contracts and procurement to ensure accurate financial control and reporting.
Required profile
- Eight (8) years of experience in quantity surveying on major oil and gas/petrochemical projects.
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia.
