Quantum Software Engineer – Machine Learning (Senior)

About the role

Pasqal is looking for a senior machine‑learning engineer to join its Quantum Applications department. The role focuses on adapting, integrating and delivering client‑facing solutions that leverage Pasqal’s quantum‑enhanced graph ML algorithms.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and implement Pasqal’s quantum‑enhanced graph machine‑learning algorithms for specific client datasets and performance targets.
• Design, build and maintain robust ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation and post‑processing.
• Integrate ML pipelines with quantum execution workflows, simulation/emulation platforms and internal tooling.
• Define baselines, metrics and acceptance criteria with stakeholders and iterate solutions until delivery requirements are met.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware and platform engineers to transfer methods from research to production and run solutions on Pasqal QPUs.
• Produce maintainable code, documentation and hand‑over material for long‑term support.

Required profile

• Senior‑level machine‑learning engineer with roughly five years of professional experience.
• Strong interest in quantum computing; a physics background is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to work on client‑oriented projects and deliver reliable solutions.
