Receiving Clerk

About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Receiving Clerk to join its Finance and Procurement team. The role ensures that all incoming goods, materials and supplies are received, inspected and recorded accurately, supporting the hotel’s operational standards and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all deliveries from vendors, verifying against purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes.
• Record received items in the inventory, procurement or finance systems and maintain accurate receiving logs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, shortages or quality issues.
• Label, tag and document goods before storage or distribution, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Monitor pending, back‑ordered or partial deliveries and follow up with internal stakeholders.
• Support inventory activities such as stock counts, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Handle perishable, fragile or temperature‑sensitive items according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety in receiving and loading areas.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Purchasing, Finance and suppliers.
• Commitment to adhering to quality, safety and food‑safety standards.
