Recreation Assistant

About the role

The Recreation Assistant supports daily operations of sports facilities at Misk Sports Wadi and other locations in Riyadh. Reporting to the Recreation Supervisor, the role involves ensuring safety, customer service, and smooth delivery of sporting activities, with occasional supervisory cover during vacations or absences.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Misk City policies, health & safety procedures, and employee code of conduct.
• Handle customer inquiries, enforce facility rules, and maintain high standards of customer care.
• Monitor cleaning, safety, and wellbeing of users and facilities.
• Supervise and coach sporting activities, prepare and maintain equipment.
• Assist the recreation team in planning and delivering events on schedule.
• Provide front‑of‑house/reception duties, open and close facilities, and manage session changeovers.
• Report faults, damages, or service disruptions and ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Support sports development by collaborating on leagues, tournaments and community events.
• Complete administrative tasks such as reporting, document updates and compliance checks.
• Provide cover at other facilities during evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Required profile

• Saudi national with good personal fitness.
• Relevant qualifications and up‑to‑date training for recreation and sports supervision.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to resolve difficult customer situations.
