Recreation Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Attendant will create a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests at The Ritz‑Carlton Amaala by promoting and managing a variety of recreation activities. This full‑time position involves interacting directly with guests, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a safe and enjoyable environment by communicating facility rules and regulations.
• Monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Identify guests who may be unable to safely participate and notify supervisors.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees, and retail sales.
• Provide courteous service, assist guests with disabilities, and answer telephone inquiries professionally.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work full‑time in a hospitality setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
