Recreation Officer (FMCO) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Recreation Officer (FMCO) will lead and coordinate indoor and outdoor leisure activities for residents and guests in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures a vibrant, safe, and engaging environment that promotes wellness and community interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise a variety of recreational programmes, including sports tournaments, fitness sessions, games and social events.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and readiness of all recreational facilities.
• Guide participants, encourage involvement and monitor daily activities to ensure discipline and safety.
• Inspect sports and recreation equipment regularly and report maintenance needs.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
• Coordinate with other departments for special events and community programmes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Honours) – preferably in Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Management, Hospitality or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience as a Recreation Officer or in a similar role.
• Experience in residential compounds, hotels, resorts, sports clubs, labour accommodations or facilities‑management companies is preferred.
• Prior experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
• Excellent organisational and teamwork abilities with the capacity to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
